Following an asset

If you want to monitor several assets simultaneously, you can follow each one in a new map window and at the same time, keep the main screen open to perform other tasks. In other words, it allows an individual asset to be followed in a separate window.

 Note: You can open as many windows as you need and move them independently to new locations on your workspace.

To follow an asset:

1. Select an asset from the map or from the Asset and POI panel
2. The Information panel displays the details of the selected asset
3. Click Follow asset
4. The Follow Asset screen opens in a new window
   • The screen is focused and centered on the selected asset
   • The map updates the location of the asset as it moves
   • The Zoom To and Follow Asset functions are disabled
   • The Asset and POI panel is no longer available
   • You can also navigate to other screens such as Configuration
   • To stop following the asset, close the window.
