POI Types

POI Types allow you to create categories in which you can group POIs with similar characteristics which is especially useful if you have a lot of POIs.

For example:

You might want to create a category of POIs for potentially dangerous locations. You can customize how it looks using colour, the thickness of the line and an icon.

To access the list of POI Types available:

1. Go to Configuration > POIs > POI Types
2. The list of POI Types is displayed.
   • For each POI Type, you will also see the number of POIs that belong to this category
   • If you click on any POI Type, you will see the detail information of each one.

From this screen, you can also:

• edit the POI Type information. See Editing a POI Type
• add a new POI Type. See Adding a POI Type
