Activities

An activity is a task that you assign to resources. The Activity screen allows you to view a list of activities whose status is not cancelled or completed, add a new activity, edit and cancel an activity and view past activities. From this screen, you can assign activities to resources.

The screen is composed of:

Dispatch (Default)

The Dispatch screen displays a list of activities including Resource, Activity Name, Location, Start Time and End Time. It allows you to search, add, edit and cancel an activity as well as assigning a resource.

The activities are grouped by status:

 Note: When hovering over an activity, you will get the following options: Edit, Cancel or View depending on the status of the activity. The heading of each group will show the number of activities associated with it and will be listed by Start Time (i.e. the activity that will expire soon).

Unassigned
  • The activity has been created but no resource has been assigned yet
  • A question mark icon will display next to the activity
    • If an activity that has been dispatched to a resource is rejected, it will display a red indicator.
  • You can assign a resource by clicking on the link provided which will pop up a window allowing you to choose a resource
    • Assigning a resource will also depend on the Work Schedule of the individual. If the activity is outside of the resource's working hours, you will get a message informing you that the individual is not suitable for this activity.
    • Once the activity has been assigned to a resource, it will be moved to the Dispatched list.

Dispatched

  • The activity has been assigned to a resource but has not been accepted yet.
  • If you choose to edit the activity, you can but you can not change the Resource that is currently assigned to it
  • Once the activity is accepted, it will move to the In Progress list
  • If the activity is rejected at this point, the activity will be put back in the Unassigned list.
In Progress
  • The activity has been accepted by the resource.
  • You can edit the activity but not the resource that is assigned to it.
Completed The activity has been achieved. You can not make any changes to a completed activity but you can still view the details.
History

It lists all completed and cancelled activities within the last 24 hours from the end time and date of the activity. You can only view the activity details and status history.

Time Cards

It is a report linked to the mobile application, Task Tracker that allows you to see when your resource has started and ended their shift as well as the work schedule associate, the duration of the shift, the number of breaks, total time on break and total time the resource was actively working.

To generate a Time Cards report, choose From and To dates and the list will be automatically updated.
