Assets

For each device you have purchased, an asset needs to be created in the application. Once created, these assets:

• contain minimal information — you can choose to supplement (for example, assign a resource to an asset) or in other ways change an asset's basic set up

• are assigned to the default "My Fleet" asset type — you will want to set up your own asset types and assign assets to them

• are assigned to a Device Data Setting (DDS) — use caution when making changes to avoid data overages.

Under the Assets Configuration screen, you have access to the list of assets, asset types and vehicle types.
